We’ve made our fair share of ‘mistakes’ this week on the farm. At least we got to go sailing.

Hello readers, we’ve been quite busy with getting the garden set up for the year and babysitting, as well as exploring Gabriola Island. Therefore this week we have decided to go for a different approach to the blog and do a quick video tour around the farm.

You may remember that we were planning to change locations this week. On Monday we packed up our bags, tidied our room and put the bedsheets in the wash. But soon after we got a call that would delay our departure…

We’ve been cooped up for the last week, scooping chicken poop and doing chicken jigsaws. Apparently British Columbia is closed. Grocery stores are operating on a one-in-one-out system and people are following the physical distancing advice below. Apart from missing our Tim Hortons fix, we’ve not really noticed the difference.

We would like to reassure our readers that we will continue to provide great content on a weekly basis in these difficult times. We will strive to maintain a high standard of blog hygiene to reduce the risk to you, our valued reader. 

Last weekend took us to Tofino and Mount Washington. We also had a new arrival on the farm!
