Look What We Have Grown

Our travels, for now, have turned into a gardening bonanza! Not something we initially envisaged, but we have enjoyed it and learnt lots. It’s been an exciting week for us because we have started to harvest some of the crops we planted in April, mostly leafy greens, and thought we would take the opportunity to show you what we have got so far.

  2. Love that you’re eating your greens! The growing room looks very scientific…..endless possibilities in there: chick breeding room for starters! Sending love to you both!

  3. Kohlrabi? Look weird, may be tasty.
Its great when you can eat the plants you have thinned out and replant last years kale sproutings.
You will not need my bird research, all you need is a good website. Dark eyed juncos are not as boring as they seem, they have been scientifically studied for ages, seem to have split into six American subspecies since the end of the last ice age, evolved from yellow eyed juncos that spread up from Mexico. You must have the Oregon subspecies with the black head where you are.
