A Busy Week

We’ve been quite busy this week, with work and Ollie moving from Sun Peaks to Burnaby. Luckily, Hannah did some video editing for us, featuring Ollie’s highlights from his first ever black run (that means it was a scary one). He even managed an accidental 180 at the end of it. Enjoy the slo-mo commentary…

Rosie’s weekly highlight

There are two other things of note this week. Firstly, when Ollie drove across the dreaded highway thru hell on Tuesday it resulted in a chip in Elsie’s windscreen. All of the cars were throwing grit up from the road and it seems to be unavoidable. We’ve had it filled with some magic goo. Secondly, we’ve booked a few flat viewings this weekend so we don’t have to live in an expensive AirBnB anymore. Top on the priority list are: space for two desks, natural light and a mountain view.

Have a good weekend everyone!

  1. “I went over the highway thru hell and all I got was this lousy chipped windscreen”

Congratulations!… to be honest… if that is all you got from the death-trip in a much smaller vehicle than the bus, I think you have done very well.

Good luck with the flat veiwings! A spare bedroom (to put a large cardboard cut out of me and parents) is also advised.

    1. I thought that picture of Rosie was what she thought of Ollies black run….. I’m surprised he didn’t break something!
I guess you are looking forward to your return trip over the highway through hell at Christmas then!
Good luck with the flat viewings!

  2. Well impressed with Ollie’s dangerous Black Run (Is that the result of a nervous tummy?!!!). Glad he didn’t break anything, although being lifted off the mountain in a helicopter would have been quite exciting too! Happy flat hunting – I would recommend a working heating system on your list of ‘must haves’ – something we haven’t got at the moment!! xx

    1. Thanks Maria, that is one of those things that you can never un-hear! I will never be able to take the ski hills seriously again (not that I really did before). I hope your heating is fixed!!
